Elsevier journal Environmental Research (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/environmental-research/) is going to publish a Special Issue on the topic: The Provision of Ecosystem Services in Response to Global Change (Guest-editors: Raffaele Lafortezza & Jiquan Chen).
Authors are invited to contribute to the special issue by submitting original research, reviews, and synthesis studies illustrating general theories and methods, generating and analysing natural and social datasets, developing integrated modeling techniques, and presenting state-of-the-art research results.
One of the goals of the Global Change Research Symposium 2014 was to promote the natural and human interaction and global change research by publishing the related studies, especially those presented at the Symposium. This focus issue will play a critical role in improving our understanding of current knowledge, research gaps, and future research needs for ecosystem services provision in response to global change.
The full manuscript submission deadline is February 28, 2015 . A guest editorial committee will work with the ER handling editors on the review process.
