Spatio-temporal analysis offers powerful analytical approaches to explore the spatial dynamics of our social and natural environment. One of the key attributes for spatio-temporal analysis is available, consistent, and comparable time-data. This webinar will discuss how to find the time data embedded in space, how to make the data comparable over time and space, and how to build spatio-temporal data for spatial panel data analysis. It will demonstrate how to explore the changing structures and spatial patterns of population and business in the US and China with the China and US Geo-Explorers. Those data include government statistics, census data, and business data at different administrative and geographical scales.
