Karunya University, a Category 1 University under the University Grants Commission of the Government of India, is pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at enhancing academic collaboration through a two-pronged faculty and student exchange program.
We invite esteemed past and present professors from international institutions to spend three months at Karunya University during the current academic year (July 2024 – 2025). This opportunity will allow professors to engage with our faculty and students in both educational and research areas. They may also conduct a course, offering our students exposure to the teaching-learning ecosystems of higher education institutions abroad.
Karunya University will cover international and domestic travel, local hospitality, and provide remuneration equivalent to that of a senior professor in India as per UGC norms. This program may also lead to joint research projects. We encourage you to identify suitable professors from the US or other international universities who would benefit from and contribute to this enriching experience.
In addition, we welcome international students to spend a semester with us. Karunya will provide a stipend to cover accommodation and food, and there is a provision for credit transfer. We will waive the tuition fee for the one semester spent here.
