We are sorry to announce that Alexander Sergeevich Isaev passed away on August 30th, 2018. A distinguished academic and leader in Russian forestry. As part of the Gore Chernomyrdin Commission he developed collaboration with NASA scientists, he also played an important role in the development of the NEESPI program.
