Dr. Jud Harvey investigates groundwater and surface water interactions and its effects on contaminants and aquatic ecosystems from the mountains to the sea. He has served on committees of the National Research Council, EPA’s Science Advisory Board, the Canadian Government’s Science Review Board, and many others, including editorial boards of Water Resources Research and Wetlands. He is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and the Geological Society of America.

Dr. Prasad S. Thenkabail is a research geographer at USGS and has 30+ years experience working as a well recognized international expert in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems and its applications to agriculture, natural resources management, water resources, sustainable development, and environmental studies. His work experience spans over 25 countries. He has 130+ peer-reviewed publications, and is a chief editor of the three volume Remote Sensing Handbook, and the four volume upcoming Hyperspectral Remote Sensing of Vegetation Books. Prasad has a PhD from the Ohio State University
